This is a source-available license, not an OSI open-source license. It permits
free commercial internal use, private modification, paid professional services,
and free sharing subject to the conditions below. It reserves commercial sale
of the covered warehouse and commercial warehouse-service offerings for a
separate written agreement with Encapsulated.

1. ACCEPTANCE AND APPLICATION

You accept this license when you exercise a permission it grants. If you act
for an organization, you must have authority to accept these terms for that
organization. If you do not accept them, this license grants you no permission.
Rights available under applicable law or another valid license are unaffected.

This license applies to releases that Encapsulated distributes with these terms
and to copies and modified versions distributed under them. It does not revoke
rights already granted under a separate valid agreement, or impose new
conditions on acts completed before these terms applied to your copy.

2. DEFINITIONS

"Covered Software" means the Encapsulated materials provided under this license
as the AI-Ready STAR Data Warehouse, including the virtual-database and warehouse
SQL scripts, installation and synchronization code, copyrightable schema
materials, metadata descriptions, and accompanying documentation. It also
includes copies, portions, and modified or derivative versions of those
materials, to the extent the applicable copyright owner can license them.

Covered Software excludes customer data, separately licensed third-party
materials, and Independent Applications. Merely using the same database,
language, schema names, interfaces, or business concepts does not by itself make
an independently authored work Covered Software.

"You" means the person or organization accepting this license. "Your Company"
includes that organization and entities it controls, is controlled by, or is
under common control with. Control means the power to direct an entity's
management, including through majority voting ownership.

"Customer" means an organization receiving work from a Service Provider for
that organization's permitted use of the Covered Software. "Service Provider"
means a consultant, contractor, support provider, or administrator acting on
behalf of such a Customer.

"Professional Services" means actual work performed or contractually undertaken
for a Customer, such as assessment, implementation, installation, configuration,
customization, development, integration, migration, administration, monitoring,
maintenance, support, training, or service-level commitments. Payment for a
software entitlement or a Warehouse Offering is not Professional Services merely
because an invoice describes it as implementation, support, or another service.

"Independent Application" means an independently authored report, integration,
AI tool, application, or other work that uses the Covered Software as
infrastructure, rather than incorporating or adapting its protected expression
or supplying a Warehouse Offering. An application can be independent even when
it connects through SQL, an API, or other interfaces and depends on the warehouse
for data. Its name, packaging, or number of user-interface screens is not
decisive.

"Warehouse Offering" means a product or service whose principal purpose is to
supply the Covered Software, a modified or derivative warehouse based on it, or
a substantial part of its reusable warehouse functionality to others. Examples
include a packaged STAR data warehouse, a warehouse subscription, or a hosted
service providing the covered extraction, synchronization, data-modeling, or
general-purpose warehouse-access functionality. Professional Services under
section 4 and ordinary infrastructure under section 6 are excluded.

3. FREE USE AND MODIFICATION

Subject to this license, Encapsulated grants you permission under the copyrights
it owns or is authorized to license to obtain, inspect, copy, install, run,
modify, and create derivative works of the Covered Software for:

(a) your own and Your Company's internal business operations, including
commercial production use, development, testing, backup, and disaster
    recovery;
(b) providing ordinary accounting, tax, advisory, and other professional work,
    including preparing reports and other deliverables for your clients;
(c) permitted Professional Services under section 4;
(d) free redistribution under section 5; and
(e) permitted Independent Applications and infrastructure under section 6.

These permissions are worldwide, nonexclusive, and royalty-free. There are no
seat, revenue, data-volume, or annual-renewal charges under this license.

You may keep internal modifications private. This license does not require
public disclosure of your data or internal modifications, or transfer ownership
of your original work to Encapsulated. Distribution outside your organization
is subject to sections 4 and 5. Uses reserved by section 7 are not granted here.

4. PAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ARE PERMITTED

You may engage Encapsulated or any other Service Provider. A Service Provider
may copy, test, modify, install, extend, and operate the Covered Software on a
Customer's behalf for uses permitted by this license. It may serve multiple
Customers and may charge hourly, fixed-price, recurring, or other agreed fees
for Professional Services. This license does not regulate the amount of those
fees or prevent a provider from earning a profit.

As part of that work, a Service Provider may deliver the original or customized
Covered Software to the Customer. That delivery is permitted even though the
Customer pays for the work. The Customer must receive this license, the source
of the Covered Software delivered or operated for it, including applicable
modifications, and the ability to exercise the permissions in this license
without an additional software-license payment to the Service Provider.

Modifications included in such a delivery must be available to the Customer
under the permissions and conditions of this license. This does not require
public publication of the Customer's private deployment, disclosure of another
customer's information, or disclosure of a provider's independent tools.

Paid administration of a Customer's deployment is permitted where the Customer
holds its own rights under this license, the deployment is operated on its
behalf, and it can retain or obtain the covered source and configuration needed
to continue independently or appoint another provider. This can include a
Customer's own premises or cloud environment. Physical ownership of the
hardware is not required.

Charges must be for the agreed work or services, not for the right to use or
continue using the Covered Software already delivered. A provider may stop
supplying unpaid services or infrastructure in accordance with its contract,
but may not make the Customer's community software rights expire, impose a
software-license fee, or disable the Covered Software because a service or
support contract ends. Normal charges for actual migration or handover work
do not create a software-license fee.

A provider's competition with Encapsulated in consulting, support, or another
independent business is not, by itself, prohibited. Offering a warehouse product
or subscription is not brought within this section merely by calling it a
managed engagement or allocating its price to services.

5. FREE REDISTRIBUTION AND FORKS

You may distribute the Covered Software and modified versions free of charge,
including through publicly available forks that compete with the official
release, provided that:

(a) recipients receive this complete license and the applicable copyright,
    attribution, and third-party notices;
(b) recipients receive the complete preferred source form for modifying the
Covered Software you distribute, including the covered SQL, metadata, and
    applicable modifications, without an additional charge;
(c) you identify material modifications and distinguish an unofficial fork
    from an official Encapsulated release;
(d) for modifications you own, you directly grant each recipient the same
permissions under the same conditions, without assigning ownership or
special commercial relicensing rights to Encapsulated, and do not impose
terms that take away a recipient's rights in Covered Software; and
(e) there is no charge for a software entitlement or continued use, and no
required paid membership, support purchase, or other consideration for
those rights. Fees for commissioned work and its delivery under section 4
remain permitted; they may not be converted into software-license fees.

Recipients obtain their permissions in Encapsulated's materials directly from
Encapsulated, and in your distributed modifications directly from you under
section 5(d). You may not purport to sublicense Encapsulated's materials on
different terms without a separate written authorization.

You need not publish private modifications merely because you use them. The
source-delivery obligations apply when you distribute or provide Covered
Software to a Customer under section 4. They do not require disclosure of
customer data, credentials, or unrelated Independent Applications.

Genuinely voluntary donations or sponsorship of free distribution are allowed
if access, continued use, and licensed rights are the same for recipients who
do not pay. This does not authorize a paid Warehouse Offering.

6. INDEPENDENT APPLICATIONS AND ORDINARY INFRASTRUCTURE

You may build, use, license, sell, host, and support Independent Applications
that use the Covered Software as infrastructure. Your original application
code, reports, data, and ordinary query results are not governed by this license
solely because they use or are produced using the warehouse. Output that itself
contains or reproduces protected Covered Software remains subject to the
applicable terms.

A separately licensed application connecting to a Customer's separately licensed
warehouse is permitted. An independently useful hosted application may also use
the Covered Software internally, provided the offering is the application's
distinct business functionality rather than a Warehouse Offering. Putting a
thin interface, API, or AI chat layer over a warehouse does not automatically
make it an Independent Application.

This permission does not authorize distributing or embedding Covered Software
as a component of a paid software product or bundle. That requires a commercial
agreement under section 7, except for the Customer-specific Professional
Services deliveries permitted by section 4.

General-purpose computing, storage, networking, backup, or database-hosting
providers may supply infrastructure on which a licensee runs the Covered
Software. Charging for that infrastructure alone is permitted. A provider that
instead packages or operates the covered warehouse as its customer offering
must comply with the Warehouse Offering restrictions.

7. ACTIVITIES REQUIRING A COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT

Unless a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative of
Encapsulated permits the specific activity, you may not:

(a) charge for the Covered Software, a copy of it, or the right to obtain,
    license, access, or continue using it as a software product;
(b) sell, rent, commercially sublicense, white-label, or otherwise offer a
    Warehouse Offering in exchange for a fee or other commercial consideration;
(c) redistribute or embed Covered Software in a paid software product or
commercial software bundle, other than a delivery expressly permitted by
    section 4; or
(d) provide the Covered Software or a substantial part of its warehouse
functionality as a paid hosted, SaaS, or managed warehouse product.

These restrictions apply to original, modified, and derivative versions and
covered portions of them. They do not disappear because an offering uses a new
name, different interface, API, platform, or programming language, or because
the customer obtains its components through separate downloads. Single-tenant
and multi-tenant deployment are treated alike for this purpose.

The substance of the transaction controls. Allocating a software or warehouse
subscription charge to installation, mandatory support, an affiliate, or a
nominally separate product does not avoid this section. Conversely, a large
fee, a recurring fee, or the use of reusable tools does not alone turn genuine
Professional Services into a prohibited software sale.

These restrictions concern activities using Covered Software. They do not give
Encapsulated ownership of ideas, facts, methods, or independently developed
software merely because it has similar functionality or competes with an
Encapsulated product or service.

8. CONTINUED USE AND OPTIONAL SUPPORT

For a version received under this license, the granted rights continue for the
duration of the applicable intellectual-property rights, subject to compliance
and section 12. They do not require a subscription, support contract, periodic
license renewal, or continued payment to Encapsulated or a Service Provider.

Encapsulated does not reserve a right under this license to impose a future
software-license fee on continued permitted use of that version. This license
creates no requirement for an Encapsulated activation or renewal service to
keep that version operating.

Support, implementation, maintenance, training, service levels, warranties, and
other services are optional and may be offered for a fee under separate
agreements. This license promises none of those services or future updates.
Third-party software, infrastructure, and service charges remain separate.

9. OWNERSHIP, ATTRIBUTION, AND TRADEMARKS

Encapsulated and other applicable authors retain ownership of their respective
materials. Preserve the applicable copyright and license notices. You may
identify your own contributions and give an unofficial fork a distinct name,
but you may not misrepresent the origin of Encapsulated's work or present a
modified distribution as its official release.

This license grants no general right to use Encapsulated's logos, trademarks,
or certification marks. Accurate attribution, identification of the original
project, and lawful compatibility references are permitted. Other branding uses
require permission. IRIS STAR is referenced for compatibility; no affiliation
with or endorsement by IRIS is granted or implied.

10. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS AND CUSTOMER DATA

Encapsulated grants only rights it owns or is authorized to grant. Separately
licensed materials retain their own terms. This license does not grant rights
in IRIS STAR Practice Management, Microsoft SQL Server, drivers, third-party
code, or third-party trademarks, or override their applicable agreements.

You are responsible for obtaining lawful access to your source systems and for
the permissions, confidentiality obligations, and legal requirements applicable
to the data you process. No ownership of or access right to your customer data,
reports, or other independent business information is granted to Encapsulated
by this license.

11. PATENT PERMISSION

For the permitted activities, Encapsulated grants permission under any patent
claims it controls and can license that would necessarily be infringed by using
its Covered Software as supplied. A distributor granting rights in its own
modifications under section 5(d) grants the same permission for claims it controls
that would necessarily be infringed by those modifications as distributed with
the Covered Software. These grants do not extend to claims arising solely from
other additions or combinations with other products. If you initiate patent
litigation alleging that the Covered Software infringes a patent, the patent
permissions granted to you by this section end when you file that claim.

12. COMPLIANCE AND TERMINATION

The grants are conditioned on compliance with this license. An activity outside
those grants is not authorized while the violation continues.

Encapsulated may terminate your rights for a material breach by written notice
identifying the breach if you do not correct it within 30 days after receiving
the notice. Correcting the breach within that period prevents termination under
that notice. This cure opportunity does not authorize the breach or waive
otherwise available remedies for it.

Ending a services or support contract is not a breach of this license. A Service
Provider's or distributor's breach does not by itself terminate the rights of a
Customer or other recipient that independently complies with this license.

On termination, stop activities that require permissions you no longer hold.
Rights under applicable law or a separate valid license remain unaffected.
Encapsulated may reinstate terminated permissions in writing.

13. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

THE COVERED SOFTWARE IS SUPPLIED WITHOUT WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE
LAW ALLOWS. ENCAPSULATED DOES NOT WARRANT ITS ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, SECURITY,
AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR YOUR PURPOSES, MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, OR
NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING IT, VALIDATING RESULTS,
AND MAINTAINING APPROPRIATE BACKUPS AND OPERATING CONTROLS.

TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW ALLOWS, ENCAPSULATED AND CONTRIBUTORS WHO SUPPLY
COVERED SOFTWARE UNDER THESE TERMS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR CLAIMS OR LOSSES ARISING
FROM IT OR ITS USE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS,
BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANOTHER LEGAL THEORY.

NOTHING HERE EXCLUDES A LIABILITY, REMEDY, OR WARRANTY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT
PERMIT THE PARTIES TO EXCLUDE. EXPRESS OBLIGATIONS IN A SEPARATE SIGNED SERVICES
OR COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT ARE GOVERNED BY THAT AGREEMENT.

14. OTHER AGREEMENTS, CONTRIBUTIONS, AND LICENSE VERSIONS

Encapsulated may offer additional permissions, including redistribution, OEM,
white-label, and hosted-product permissions, under a separate written commercial
agreement. A services agreement alone does not replace this community license.
Any different software permissions must be expressly identified in the signed
agreement.

Making a modification or submitting a contribution does not automatically
assign its copyright to Encapsulated. A separate contribution agreement is
needed if Encapsulated is to receive additional commercial relicensing rights
in contributions that it does not already have authority to license.

Later license versions or website-policy changes do not automatically amend the
terms governing a copy already received under this version. New releases may
be offered on different terms. This license does not automatically convert to
another license after a period of time.

No waiver is effective merely because a right has not been enforced. If a
provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent
permitted by law. Statutory rights that cannot lawfully be restricted remain
unaffected. Rights not expressly granted are reserved by their respective
owners.
